McFarlane Toys is gearing up for the release of yet another exciting addition to its DC Multiverse lineup – a 7-inch scale Batman figure inspired by the iconic skydiving scene from The Dark Knight, featuring Christian Bale. This latest Batman collectible dropped on, January 24, at 9 am PT / 12 pm ET.
Anticipating from the official teaser images, it's expected that the figure will come equipped with a launcher for the sticky charges featured in the scene. Additionally, collectors can likely look forward to a backpack accessory, reminiscent of the one used for deploying wings during Batman's daring descent from a building in Hong Kong.
Worth noting is that this Christian Bale Batman figure swiftly follows the popularity of the DC Multiverse figure based on Ben Affleck's Batman from the 2016 film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While the Affleck figure quickly sold out on Entertainment Earth and Amazon, McFarlane assures fans that it will be restocked when it hits stores in March. Furthermore, McFarlane Toys is set to launch an exclusive Catwoman & Batpod Gold Label 2-pack from The Dark Knight Rises, available today at 12 pm ET through the McFarlane Toys store.
In addition to these recent releases, McFarlane Toys introduced a wave of DC Direct The New Batman Adventures 6-inch scale action figures. This follows a Batman: The Adventures Continue wave introduced in 2022. The New Batman Adventures, running from 1997 to 1999, serves as a continuation of Batman: The Animated Series, consisting of 24 episodes. It's essential not to confuse it with The New Adventures of Batman, an animated series from 1977 that recently received a collection of retro figures from McFarlane.
